Wondering Heights Dance Videos

Here is the full demonstration video of the Wuthering Heights dance which our wonderful choreographers Izzy Brittain and Kate Cox have developed for the project.

Below it are also 4 instructional videos where they have broken down some of the iconic moments of the dance.

They give a range of options so please think about what works best for you and your body, focus on proper preparation, awareness of your body and surroundings and stay within your safe zone. Remember to warm up as appropriate and stay hydrated.

We really hope you enjoy this and cannot wait to see some of your creations if you are happy to share them in the Wondering Heights Gallery.

Dance Workshops

There were two free dance workshops held in Bradford in July as part of this project.

Additional Instructional Videos

There are four instructional videos that break down some of the iconic moments of the dance. This is designed to encourage you to learn just as much as you want, the whole dance, or just a few iconic movements. You can then take these movements and re-create them in your home, garden or even out on the moors!

Video 1: This video teaches the dance moves in the opening Verse of Wuthering Heights in a seated position with Izzy Britten.

Video 2: In this video, Kate Cox teaches us 5 iconic movements which you can find throughout the dance video of Wuthering Heights. Kate offers alternative versions for different experiences and access needs.

Video 3: In this video, you can learn 2 other movements that Kate Bush uses in her iconic dance. We call them Zombie Walking and Slow Dramatic Backwards Walking.

Video 4: In this video you can learn more about wafting, an iconic move from the Kate Bush Video. This dance move is found throughout the song and iconic dance video.
